The TFS Goromity from TFS Tents is a freestanding, one-person, 4-season backpacking tent developed for exposed mountain and high-altitude camps. Its 1.5-layer construction combines a protected sleeping space with two vestibules, giving a solo traveller room to organise essential gear outside the main living area.

Breathable protection in changing weather

A waterproof, breathable Finetex dome is designed to balance weather protection with airflow in cold and changeable conditions. Adjustable ventilation at the top can be opened or closed from both sides, helping to manage airflow and condensation as conditions shift.

Storm-focused structure and anchoring

The external DAC Featherlite NSL cross-pole structure, reinforced stress points, and four Dyneema® guyline sets create a secure, weather-focused pitch. UHMWPE reinforcement is used at key stress points to improve resistance to tearing and abrasion.

Seam-Sealing

The Goromity uses double-sided silicone-coated outer fabric, which cannot be machine seam-taped. Use a compatible liquid seam sealer on the relevant seams before use in prolonged or heavy rain, following the sealer manufacturer’s curing instructions. The product reference notes that sealant may not be included in the parcel because of air-transport restrictions.
