Enran2 EU is a storm-ready, 2-person TFS tent built as a true 4-season tunnel tent, tuned specifically for European weather—damp winters, strong winds, and long UV days. It keeps the clean, efficient Enran pitch, but upgrades the fabric and floor protection for wet, mixed ground.
EU build (durability-first fabrics)
The fly is a rugged 30D Nylon-66 ripstop with double-sided silicone waterproofing (3000 mm) for long-term weather resistance. Inside, the all-season hybrid inner combines 10D breathable ripstop + 15D mesh + Monofila (white inner) to block drafts without feeling stuffy. Underfoot, a 20D 400T PU floor (5000 mm) adds serious wet-ground protection—making this a dependable waterproof tent choice for UK and European conditions.
Reinforced tunnel structure (trekking-pole end support)
Enran2 EU uses a DAC Featherlite NSL main arch (Ø 9.6 mm) and becomes even more storm-capable when you tension the ends with two trekking poles set to ~75 cm (not included). If you don’t want to use trekking poles, optional carbon-fiber end poles are available separately. This is a key part of the design and helps explain why it feels so solid for a lightweight 2 man tent.
Liveable 2P layout for backpacking
With two doors and two vestibules, each person gets their own entry and gear space—ideal for wet boots, packs, and winter layers. The generous inner (240 × 130 × 100 cm) fits long mats and bulky cold-weather kit, while two roof vents help manage condensation on cold, rainy nights. Overall packed weight is around ~1500 g (footprint sold separately), keeping it firmly in lightweight / ultralight tent territory for a 4-season-ready shelter.
Trekking poles are needed to complete the tent construction * Please note that the "trekking pole" needs to be prepared by yourself and is not included in the accessories.
Seam-Sealing Note (double-silicone fly)
As with all double-side silicone flies, machine seam tape won’t bond. Please apply silicone seam sealer by hand to the inner fly seams; use a thin coat and let cure for 5+ hours in a cool, ventilated place. Glue cannot be shipped by air—please source locally or select our seam-sealing service if available.
